Ava is Walking and getting into EVERYTHING!!!

Can you believe that Ava will be 9 months old tomorrow and is walking already and trying to RUN (Funny girl)!!! She is trying so hard to keep up with Emily! Emily did not start walking until just before her first birthday! She also has 7 teeth in already working on an 8th.
Now that Emily is at school Ava likes to sneak into her room and get in her things especially her shoes. In this picture she got caught trying to get emily's shoes. Ava LOVES shoes...if she sees shoes she will target them and try to put them in her mouth.
Ava is so funny, we have seen her personality come through over the past few weeks...she LOVES to eat everything we are eating, she expresses when she is mad by clenching her fists and grunting, she loves saying "Daaaady" over and over again especially when Ben comes home from work, she talks (babbles) all day long with me and if I don't respond to what she wants or I am not paying attention to her she screams until she gets my attention, if that does not work she knows I don't like her in the bathroom because she LOVES playing in the toilet or likes putting the toilet paper in her mouth so she makes a bee line to the bathroom as fast as she can because she knows I am going to stop doing whatever it is I am doing and I am going to get her...I know she is doing this on purpose because she will stop midway and look back to see if I am coming and when she sees me coming she turns around and goes faster until I pick her up, and when I do She has a HUGE smile on her face! such a BAD GIRL!!! She also has starting dancing when she hears music...it is so cute she will stop what she is doing to groove to what is playing. She is growing up too fast.

Emily started Kindergarten!

Emily's first day of school was this past Friday! She LOVES it except the homework and having to take naps at school.

I was alittle worried that she was going to cry, but thankfully she didn't...I just remember my first day of school, I was a BIG baby and cried when my mom left me...thankfully Emily doesn't take after me!

The night before even in the morning I kept reassuring her that I will come back for her, she finally got tired of hearing me tell her that and she said "mom, I know you won't leave me at school" That morning I was a mess...I was trying my hardest not to cry...as we were driving to school I asked her if she was ok, She said "mom, I am alittle scared but I am not going to cry...Why are you going to cry mom?" Of course I said "No, not at all" as I was holding my tears back, lol...

When I took her in her room she looked terrified so I re-assured her that everything was going to be ok, and she was a trooper and kept re-assuring ME that she was going to be ok!!! I could tell that she was holding her tears back as we said our goodbyes, but she did fine...unlike her I started crying in the car! I was anxious all day to pick her up, but when I did she was very excited and happy and that made me feel tons better!

We will soon have a walker!!!

So my dear sweet baby that I had almost 8 months ago is standing on her own for a good 10-15 seconds! Ben tells me that she will be walking soon...I don't know if I am ready...she is a super fast crawler I can hardly keep up. She also does this thing where she sits on her knees and starts bouncing up and down to make her move foward, Grandpa says she looks like Tiger bouncing all over the place.
Emily my sweet little girl will be 5 this Saturday and will be starting school not this Thursday but the next!!! Where has the time gone?!? My Girls are growing up to fast.

Time to catch up!!!

Wow it's been a long time since I posted! Well Emily and Ava are doing great! Let's start with Emily!

Emily: My little princess will be 5 next month and will be starting school this fall! She is excited about going, except for getting her shots!

She is becoming a Girly Girl, she LOVES going to Claire's and buying chapsticks and hair accessories, She no longer wants me to dress her or do her hair! She tells me she can do it all by herself (it makes me alittle sad)
She is also finally sleeping in her own room all by herself! This happened almost overnight, she decided that she needed her own space being that we HOG the bed.

Ava~ Wow, this little girl is growing up sooooo fast, She already has 2 front teeth (that she did so well about them coming in) She is sitting up all my herself AND she is starting to crawl!!! Yes, your read that right Ava is crawling! Not very far, but she can get what she wants when she wants it. As soon as she realizes that if she keeps at it and she can go further she will be taking off! Emily doesn't like it very much that her little sister is getting around now, being that her toys are not safe anymore. Oh, and she is also wanting to pull herself up on the couch or her excersaucer, she is trying her hardest but she only gets to her knees!
At her 6 month appointment she weighed in at 16 lbs. 11 oz. and is 27 inches tall! She is growing up so fast! As soon as I have a chance I will post a picture of both my girls, but in the meantime you can always see pictures on Facebook, being that I can download them directly from my phone.
